Though there are still disparities in coverage, maternal vaccination rates in NSW are gradually rising.

As per a recent population-based study that was published in the journal Vaccine, up from, 54% of women who gave birth in NSW in 2020 had received both the pertussis and maternal influenza vaccinations during their pregnancy.
