According to a study, immune cells' microRNAs help defend against metabolic abnormalities in obesity.

Researchers from Vanderbilt University have shown that a group of microRNAs, which are tiny bits of RNA that control gene expression, function in a class of immune cells called macrophages to help guard against metabolic defects in obesity.
