Prostate cancer patients with European and African ancestry have certain proteogenomic signatures associated with its advancement.

An investigation presented at the American Society of Prostate Cancer showed that specific proteogenomic signatures in the prostate cancers of men of African and European ancestry were linked to an increased risk of metastasis and/or recurrence of the disease.
