New information about metabolic abnormalities in polycystic kidney disease is revealed by "mini kidneys.".

By successfully cultivating "mini kidneys" in the lab and transplanting them into living mice, researchers at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) have provided new light on metabolic defects and a possible treatment option.
