According to a survey, Americans believe that cigarettes are the most addictive and dangerous substance available.

In a recent national poll, the majority of respondents (84%) and respondents (87%) agreed that cigarettes are dangerous and addictive, but only 5% of respondents (21%) said they smoke every day. The overwhelming majority of people think that alcohol, opioids, and e-cigarettes are addictive.
