Effectiveness of telplizumab in teenagers with recently discovered type 1 diabetes.

When teplizumab was administered instead of a placebo, there was a notable improvement in stimulated C-peptide levels at week 78 for patients who had recently been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D). The percentage of time spent in the target glucose range, the amount of insulin administered, and the change in glycated hemoglobin did not show any significant differences between the groups.
