The opioid crisis and Walgreens have reached an agreement.

Walgreens Boots Alliance has agreed to pay New Mexico $500 million to settle claims that its pharmacies contributed to the state's opioid addiction by failing to halt the sale of illegal pills, the state's attorneys announced on Friday.
