The first Alzheimer's disease "gene silencing" medication appears promising.

A new genetic therapy for Alzheimer's disease has been discovered that can successfully and safely reduce levels of the damaging tau protein known to cause the disease, according to a world-first trial conducted at UCL and UCLH.
