For infants six weeks of age and older, the FDA has approved the 20-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine.

According to Pfizer, the FDA has given the pneumococcal conjugate vaccine Prevnar 20 permission to be used in infants and young children between the ages of 6 weeks and 17 years in order to prevent invasive pneumococcal disease (IPD).
