In-hospital mortality from COVID-19 is less likely when corticosteroids are used, according to a study.

Researchers from the Mayo Clinic examined the use of corticosteroids in hospitalized patients who required oxygen due to severe COVID-19 disease in a registry-based cohort study involving 109 institutions. Biomarker-concordant was evaluated by the study.
