To combat the "epidemic" of colorectal cancer, screening age needs to be lowered, according to researchers.

According to University of Otago researchers, New Zealand needs to lower the colorectal cancer screening age if it wants to stop a sharp rise in the number of people under 50 receiving diagnoses and passing away from the disease.
