Aggressive pancreatic cancer may benefit from a drug that targets scar-like tissue in tumors.

A new Australian drug that targets the "fibrotic" tissue that resembles scar tissue within tumors shows promise for treating pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, one of the most aggressive forms. These findings come from the Garvan Institute of Medical Research.
