Research indicates that thalidomide compound derivatives cause resistant cancer cells to die.

According to a study from Goethe University Frankfurt, thalidomide derivatives may one day be used to treat cancer. In the 1950s, thalidomide was sold as a medication for sleep. Afterwards, it became sadly famous.
