A currently available cancer drug called ponatinib may be used to treat some aggressive cancers.

An existing cancer drug may be repurposed to target a subset of cancers for which there aren't any effective targeted treatments, according to a team of researchers led by Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore).
