3,500 people are killed by hepatitis viruses every day, according to the WHO.

The World Health Organization issued a warning on Tuesday that the number of deaths from hepatitis viruses is increasing globally, with over 3,500 deaths occurring each day. The organization called for immediate action to combat the second-leading cause of infectious deaths.
