According to a study, women in their eighties live longer when they maintain a healthy weight.

A multi-institutional study led by University of California San Diego found that women who maintained their body weight after the age of 60 had a higher likelihood of living to be 90, 95, or 100 years old, which is considered exceptional longevity.
