More evidence supports the use of metformin rather than ivermectin in the treatment of COVID-19.

According to recent University of Minnesota research, patients with COVID-19 had lower viral loads if treated with metformin. This finding supports the wider use of the inexpensive anti-diabetes medication and refutes the contentious use of ivermectin.
