Researchers say teens with obesity can safely follow very low-calorie diets as long as they are closely supervised by a dietitian.

A new study that will be presented at the European Congress on Obesity (ECO) suggests that teens with moderate to severe obesity can safely follow very low-calorie diets for a short period of time as long as they are closely monitored by a qualified dietitian.
