Pfizer will charge $1390 per course for the COVID-19 treatment pill Paxlovid.

When government supplies of the COVID-19 antiviral treatment Paxlovid run out, Pfizer said on Wednesday that it will more than double the amount the government currently pays for the medication when it goes to commercial sales, setting the price at approximately $1400 per five-day course.
