Poor outcomes in patients with lung cancer who take KRAS G12C inhibitors are linked to mutations in three important genes.

Three tumor suppressor genes—KEAP1, SMARCA4, and CDKN2A—have co-occurring mutations, and these mutations have been linked to poor clinical outcomes, according to a recent study led by scientists at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
