Reversing a fentanyl overdose with naloxone was beyond the capabilities of most young adults.

A recent survey of college students in the United States revealed that only 1 in 7 of them knew how to administer naloxone, the overdose antidote drug, despite the fact that fentanyl-related fatal overdoses among young adults are on the rise.
