Semaglutide Tied to Lower Risk for Adult-Onset Seizure

In adults with type 2 diabetes, semaglutide initiation was associated with roughly half the risk for adult-onset seizure compared with other glucose-lowering medications — a protective effect that appeared independent of blood sugar or weight control.
