When COVID-19 is widespread, childhood asthma decreases.

In comparison to years prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, there were half as many children in the United States diagnosed with asthma in the first year of the outbreak. Researchers from Rutgers University believe fewer colds may have contributed to this decrease.
