Age-related breast cancer: study identifies early mutations that foretell patient outcomes.

According to a study conducted by scientists at Sanford Burnham Prebys, some genetic mutations are linked to treatment-resistant breast cancer in young women. Treatment-resistant breast does not appear to be associated with these mutations.
