To determine if a child experiencing acute liver failure will require a transplant, researchers have developed a clinical tool.

In the United States, there are about fifty children on the transplant waiting list. S. a year as a result of severe liver damage. When formerly healthy children experience acute liver failure, they may not recover gradually like those with chronic liver disease.
