Half of meningococcal vaccination appointments were delayed or canceled during the COVID-19 pandemic

A survey conducted in several countries found that 50% of meningitis vaccination appointments were delayed or canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which the study authors say underscores the need for “urgent action” to maintain the level of routine vaccination for children.
