Two antibiotics are equally effective for treating children with sinusitis, according to a study, but one has fewer side effects.

A recent study led by Brigham and Women's Hospital researchers and published in JAMA found that patients who were prescribed amoxicillin-clavulanate had higher rates of yeast infections and gastrointestinal symptoms than those who weren't.
