Immunization against COVID-19 prior to infection is strongly associated with a lower risk of long-term COVID.

According to a study published in The BMJ, having at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine prior to the initial infection is significantly linked to a lower risk of developing post-COVID-19 condition, also known as long COVID.
