Bone fracture is linked to a loss of 1 to 7 years of life, according to a "skeletal age" study.

Researchers from The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) have determined the degree to which a bone fracture can cause an early death and developed a publicly accessible tool that physicians and patients can use to determine risk.
