Promising for early pancreatic cancer detection is a liquid biopsy based on exosomes.

Research presented at the American Association for Cancer Research showed that an investigational exosome-based liquid biopsy, in conjunction with the biomarker CA 19-9, detected 97 percent of stage 1-2 pancreatic cancers accurately.
