Severe hot flashes after menopause increase metabolic syndrome risk in women, finds long-term study.

The metabolic syndrome and high blood pressure are more likely to develop in women who have more severe hot flashes after menopause, according to research presented at the 25th European Congress of Endocrinology in Istanbul.
