Low-Dose Steroids for RA: Slight Weight Gain, No BP Rise.

In this pooled analysis of five RCTs for RA, it was discovered that 2 years of low-dose glucocorticoid therapy [7.5 mg/day or less] causes a small weight gain of about 1 kg but has no impact on blood pressure.
