A medication for epilepsy protects mice with neurofibromatosis type 1 from brain tumors.

Researchers at Washington University School of Medicine have shown that a medication used to treat epilepsy in children also inhibits the growth and formation of brain tumors in two mouse models of neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1).
