A treatment for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, vamorolone, has received FDA approval.

Following FDA approval, patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy can now use vamorolone (Agamree) as a first-in-class dissociative steroid therapy. In the first quarter of 2024, Catalyst Pharmaceuticals intends to introduce the treatment.
