Study: Three weeks are spent annually by older adults getting medical care away from home.

The average amount of time older adults spent receiving medical care outside of their homes was three weeks annually, according to a cross-sectional study involving over 6,500 adults 65 years of age and above. Eleven percent of the participants in this nationally representative group.
