Mice's lung inflammation is regulated by a peptide from a venomous fish toxin.

A molecule discovered in the venomous toadfish Thalassophryne nattereri has shown the ability to control lung inflammation and may serve as the foundation for a more potent asthma medication. Scientists from Butantan carried out the research.
