According to research, drinking low-gluten beer does not eliminate the risk of celiac disease.

A study from Edith Cowan University (ECU) suggests that some beers marketed as low- or reduced-gluten beers actually contain higher or equivalent amounts of gluten proteins, which may convince people with celiac disease (CD) to give up beer.
