FDA-approved nirsevimab-alip helps protect newborns and young children from RSV.

The approval comes after the FDA Antimicrobial Drugs Advisory Committee unanimously endorsed nirsevimab-alip's favorable benefit-risk profile for the prevention of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) lower respiratory tract disease (LRTD) in newborns and infants during their first RSV season.
