Protecting Children's Eyes From Everyday Vision Problems

Speciality: Ophthalmology

Description:

Welcome to our podcast. Today, we’re focusing on how to protect children’s eyes from everyday vision problems. With increased screen time from digital devices, children are more at risk for eye strain and developing vision issues like myopia. To help, encourage kids to follow the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds. Make sure they get plenty of outdoor playtime, as natural light is beneficial for eye health. Regular eye check-ups are essential, even if your child doesn’t complain about their vision. Remember, healthy habits today can protect your child’s eyesight for life. Thanks for listening.
