Speciality: Cardiology
Description:
Welcome to our podcast. Today, we’re highlighting the early symptoms of heart failure—an important topic for everyone’s health. Heart failure doesn’t mean your heart has stopped, but rather that it isn’t pumping blood as efficiently as it should. Early warning signs can include persistent shortness of breath, especially when lying down or during physical activity, unexplained fatigue, and swelling in the legs, ankles, or feet. You might also notice rapid weight gain from fluid retention, or a persistent cough or wheezing. Early recognition of these symptoms can make a significant difference. If you or someone you know is experiencing these signs, it’s important to seek medical advice promptly. Early intervention can help improve quality of life and outcomes.
