Prevention of Atrial Fibrosis Progression Through Noninvasive Electromechanical Substrate Mapping

Speciality: Cardiology

Speaker:

M Anandha Shanmugaraj | HCP

Description:

Welcome to today's episode, where we explore how noninvasive electromechanical substrate mapping is transforming the prevention of atrial fibrosis progression. Atrial fibrosis, the scarring of heart tissue, can lead to arrhythmias and heart failure. Traditionally, detecting and monitoring this condition required invasive procedures. However, with modern noninvasive mapping, doctors can now assess the heart’s electrical and mechanical properties from outside the body. This technology enables early identification of patients at risk and helps guide targeted therapies to slow or prevent fibrosis. By catching changes early, we can improve outcomes and quality of life for people with heart rhythm disorders. Stay tuned for more on advances in cardiac care.
