Speciality: Dentistry
Description:
Welcome to our podcast. Today, we’re exploring how to prevent cavities naturally. Cavities form when bacteria break down sugars in our mouth, producing acids that erode tooth enamel. To reduce your risk, start by brushing twice daily with a soft-bristled toothbrush and fluoride-free toothpaste. Floss regularly to remove food particles between teeth. Consider rinsing with water after meals, and opt for snacks like cheese, nuts, or crunchy vegetables, which help neutralise acids. Limit sugary and acidic foods and drinks, and try oil pulling with coconut oil for added oral health benefits. Finally, regular dental check-ups are still important, even if you follow a natural routine. Small daily habits can make a big difference to your oral health.
