Speciality: Pediatrics
Description:
Knowing when to consult a pediatrician is crucial for your child’s health and peace of mind as a parent. While minor colds or scrapes can often be managed at home, you should contact a paediatrician if your child has a high fever that lasts more than a couple of days, persistent vomiting or diarrhoea, difficulty breathing, unusual rashes, or signs of dehydration. It’s also important to seek medical advice if your child seems unusually lethargic, irritable, or is not feeding well. Remember, trust your instincts—if something doesn’t seem right, it’s always better to reach out. Early consultation can help prevent complications and ensure your child gets the care they need.
