Speciality: Physiotherapy
Description:
Welcome to our podcast on simple exercises to improve posture and reduce neck pain. Poor posture, often caused by long hours at a desk or using mobile devices, can lead to muscle tension and discomfort. To help, try chin tucks—gently draw your chin back, aligning your ears over your shoulders. Shoulder blade squeezes are also effective; pull your shoulder blades together and hold for a few seconds. Gentle neck stretches, tilting your head side to side, can relieve tightness. Practise these exercises daily, and remember to take regular breaks from screens. Over time, you’ll notice improved posture and less neck pain. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting a new exercise routine.
