Speciality: Obstetrics and Gynecology

Speaker:

Description:

Welcome to our podcast. Today, we’re exploring the common causes of pelvic pain in women. Pelvic pain is discomfort felt in the lower abdomen, and it can have many origins. Often, it’s related to reproductive organs, like menstrual cramps, ovulation, or endometriosis. Other causes include urinary tract infections, irritable bowel syndrome, or pelvic inflammatory disease. Sometimes, stress and muscle tension can also play a role. It’s important to pay attention to the type, timing, and duration of your pain. If pelvic pain is severe, persistent, or accompanied by other symptoms like fever or unusual bleeding, it’s best to consult a healthcare provider. Early diagnosis can help address the underlying cause and improve quality of life.
