Speciality: Pediatrics

Speaker:

Shruti Sharad Tagde | HCP

Description:

Welcome to our podcast. Today, let’s talk about fever in children. Fever is a common symptom, often signaling that the body is fighting an infection. For most children, a mild fever is not dangerous and can be managed at home with rest and fluids. However, you should seek medical care if your child is under three months old and develops a fever, if the fever is above 39 degrees Celsius, or if it lasts more than three days. Other warning signs include difficulty breathing, persistent vomiting, seizures, or if your child appears unusually drowsy or unresponsive. Trust your instincts as a parent, and don’t hesitate to consult a healthcare professional if you’re concerned. Thank you for listening.
