Speciality: Pediatrics

Description:

Today, let’s talk about how parents can support healthy sleep habits in children. Sleep is essential for a child’s growth, mood, and learning. Parents can help by setting a consistent bedtime routine, keeping sleep and wake times similar every day, even on weekends. Creating a calm, screen-free environment before bed also makes a big difference. Encourage relaxing activities like reading or gentle music before sleep. Make sure the bedroom is quiet, dark, and comfortable. Remember, young children need 9 to 12 hours of sleep, while teenagers need 8 to 10 hours each night. By supporting good sleep habits, parents can help their children feel rested, focused, and ready to take on each day.
