Speciality: Pediatrics
Description:
Welcome to today’s episode, where we explore the common causes of fever. Fever is our body’s natural response to infection or illness, helping to fight off harmful invaders. The most frequent triggers include viral infections like the flu or common cold, as well as bacterial infections such as strep throat or urinary tract infections. Sometimes, fever can also be a reaction to vaccinations, heat exhaustion, or even inflammatory conditions like arthritis. While most fevers are harmless and resolve on their own, persistent or very high fevers may signal a more serious problem. If you’re concerned about a fever, especially in young children or vulnerable adults, always seek medical advice. Stay tuned for more health insights on our next episode.
