Description:

A warm welcome to all the medical professionals in this interesting session on role of adalimumab in ankylosing spondylitis
Adalimumab, a TNF inhibitor, plays a crucial role in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis (AS), a chronic inflammatory disease affecting the spine and sacroiliac joints. By targeting tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), a key driver of inflammation, adalimumab helps reduce pain, stiffness, and swelling associated with AS. Clinical studies have shown its effectiveness in improving mobility and halting disease progression, especially in patients who do not respond to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
In clinical practice, adalimumab is often recommended for patients with active AS who experience inadequate relief from conventional therapies. It is administered via subcutaneous injection, providing long-term symptom control and improving quality of life. Though highly effective, adalimumab requires regular monitoring for potential side effects, such as infections. Its role in AS treatment has made it a valuable option for managing this debilitating condition.
Therefore, get an overall knowledge of role of adalimumab in ankylosing spondylitis. Listen to the webinar, grab the shared knowledge, and follow Hidoc for more such interesting webinar sessions.
