According to the World Health Organization, there are over 43 million cancer survivors globally, underscoring the necessity for comprehensive survivorship care. Effective support systems are essential for addressing the unique medical, psychosocial, and practical needs of this patient population. This article examines the multifaceted components of cancer survivorship support, focusing on evidence-based strategies for healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and quality of life.
With global cancer incidence rising due to aging populations and improved screening protocols, survivorship is increasingly relevant.
